Free First Draft! Get an unpolished read of my upcoming novel!

It’s always fun to think about how much has changed since the first draft of this story. Let me look up how long it took me to write the first draft I’m curious now. Alright, so the AO3 information says this: 2022-11-23 Completed:2023-09-21

So November 23rd, 2022 to September 21st, 2023.

That’s 302 days, less than a year to write an entire first draft. Not bad. I started writing the second draft immediately after that, with the final edit being made on May 15th 2024. So again, a little under a year. The third and fourth drafts aren’t that special so the timeline for them doesn’t matter.

Basically, by the time this story is properly published, This story will be 3.5 years old.

Dang, it’s insane to think that this much time has passed. But I’m also thankful, rushing to push out a story is never a good idea. I’m super excited for the official release, and to be able to hold my physical copy in my hand.

Until then! Here’s the first draft! There’s several typos, and the plot points are really different from how they are now, but it’s still a pretty fun read! I managed to get a nice following on AO3 from this story so I’m pumped.
